This is it, officially the end of my first batch of officer cadets. Time past so fast, and now, it’s time to focus on a new batch of people.

The end of one, is the start of another.

I will start planning my entry for next year uni intake. Will I get it?

A Rojak Of Thoughts

Some bad, some good.

Thought #01: I bought another lens, Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8. Feeling good about it even though it has burnt a hole in my wallet. Going for a test shoot tomorrow.

Thought #02: My sis is expecting this week or next. I’m going to be an uncle. (So damn old)

Thought #03: Can’t seem to smile like I’m really happy. I mean, I am happy, but somehow or another, it just don’t feel right. The heart feels really heavy. Maybe it can give me inspiration for better photos. We shall see. (Need to channel some emo-ness into energy.)

Thought #04: My first batch of cadets are now officers. I can still remember the day I threw my peak cap. Quite melancholic, even till now. No idea why.

A House Is Not Home

Sometimes I really wish I can afford my apartment so that when things go wrong, I don’t need to feel guilty about it.

For the first time, I regret not living with my grandmother for the last few months of her life. I miss you so much grandma. And I’m sorry I took you for granted. I’m really sorry.

How I wish I could have you for one more day. To talk to you in the kitchen while eating instant noodle, drinking coffee with you and make you laugh, knowing whatever I say or do won’t be judged by you.

It’s just not the same without you.

I’m in need of a shoulder right now. Desperately.
